We are offering fusing classes on a demand bases. Please stop by the store and sign up or you can call and let us know you are interested. You can also send email to bonnie@kachinastainedglass.com if you want to add your name to the list. Students will need to know the basics of cutting glass, we will be offering a class focusing just on cutting techniques.

Glass Cutting 101

We will be offering a workshop focusing on the techniques of glass cutting. This workshop is for students that want to take fusing classes or just to brush up on your cutting skills. You will need your own glass cutter, breakers and sharpie.

Introduction to Fusing

In this workshop you will learn the basics of glass fusing. Including the following:

-  glass compatibility

-  fusing temperatures

-  how to load the kiln

-  how to properly layer and fuse glass

Students will complete one fused project. Students must have own cutting tools (cutter, breakers, and sharpie).
